The practice has been established since 1964. We always strive to provide the highest standards of care for our patients and hence our involvement in Post Graduate Education, Clinical Audit, Quality Control and Clinical Governance.
The Principle, Gavin Venchard B.D.S.(Newcastle), MFGDP(UK), Diploma in Sedation, MPhil, joined the practice in December '96. Gavin qualified from Newcastle Dental School in 1984 and has since worked in Hospital Service, University, and in General Practice. He has been a Vocational Trainer since 1995. He is also a Clinical Audit facilitator and Sedation Trainer. In 1990 Gavin took up his present part-time post in oral surgery at Newcastle Dental School.
Jesmond Practice is a busy three surgery practice situated on Acorn Road - a prestigious shopping street in Newcastle. Jesmond is well served by the Metro system and is 10 minutes walk to the City Centre and Dental School. All three surgeries have recently been fully refurbished with Kavo equipment. The Panoral machine and automatic developer are adjacent to surgery three. The practice is fully computerised.
Gosforth Practice is our new two surgery practice situated on Gosforth High Street. Both surgeries boast the latest in technology.
All aspects of dentistry is undertaken, although complex orthodontic and general anaesthetic cases are referred to the Dental Hospital. Our particular interest is in oral surgery, sedation, endodontics, advanced restorations, periodontology and implantology.
We encourage and promote preventative dentistry for both adults and children and strive to provide the highest standards of care for our patients. We offer both NHS and Private treatment. |
