We wish to reassure our patients that all normal precautions are taken to safeguard both patients and staff against blood borne infections such as AIDS, BSE and hepatitis.

We follow all recommended guidelines with regard to the sterilization of instruments and drills by autoclaving in addition to the use of disposable items, wherever possible.

 

Dental Plan

You will be aware that provision of high quality dental care and up-to-date developments in materials and treatment techniques have resulted in increasing cost of dental treatment.

For a while now, an increasing number of patients who have to pay for their treatments have been enquiring about monthly budgeting options, dental maintenance schemes and dental insurance.

We have examined and assessed various schemes and have come to the conclusion that we can offer our own maintenance scheme with PRACTICE PLAN. We can now recommend the 'Acorn Maintenance Plan' to you if you so wish, which will mean you can budget monthly AND save money on your future dental care at the practice.

The Acorn Maintenance Plan allows patients to budget for routine dental care on a monthly basis, and all other treatments required will be provided at a discounted rate. The plan also includes world-wide trauma, emergency call out insurance cover and redundancy protection.

 

Guarantee

All work carried out at the Acorn Dental Surgery is guaranteed for at least one year.

 

N.H.S. Treatment

All new and registered patients are welcome under the N.H.S., which will provide you with the treatment that is required to maintain oral health.

However, some treatments are not available on the N.H.S. and in these cases you may wish to have these treatments privately.

You may also wish to take advantage of new techniques in dentistry and have some treatments provided privately as an alternative to the N.H.S. treatment available.
